Internal Renovation

December 2018

This project involved a complete renovation of a large Victorian house. It was very important to the client to preserve original features, which included ornate cornice and ceiling roses. We contracted a coving specialist, who was able to repair previously damaged cornice and replace ceiling roses that had been updated over time. Ceilings had textured wallpaper removed and were then plastered to a smooth finish. Sagging floors, due to the age of the property, were rectified and floor joists were strengthened. An en-suite shower room was added to the master bedroom and the entire property was redecorated with new flooring laid throughout.

The entire house was sympathetically renovated, highlighting the beautiful Victorian features. Although finished in a traditional way, it included modern features, such as underfloor heating and integrated smart home technology.
